Q: How long will it take to receive my membership packet?
A: Once the application is received by our membership secretary, it "normally" takes two/three weeks to process and mail out your membership packet. If you joined at a higher tier than Bronze, your sticker and card will arrive a little sooner than the other gifts contained within your tier benefits.

Q: If I join at a higher tier, do I have to maintain that tier?
A: At your renewal date if you do not wish to continue your membership at the higher tier, you may opt for a lower tier.

Q: I joined as a Supporting Member and I have yet to receive a Wing Beat.
A: The supporting membership tier only offers a sticker and event correspondence. We developed the Supporting Membership Tier for individuals such as spouses, sons, daughters, grandchildren, etc. It is simply a means of supporting the SRWA at a minimal cost.

Q: Is it ok for me to bring my son/daughter to an outing such as building wood duck boxes, even if they are not members.
A: Absolutely! We encourage all of our members to bring their sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, fathers, etc. All we ask is that children be age appropriate for the outing! 

Q: As a member am I allowed to attend the monthly meeting?
A: Yes. All members are welcomed to attend the Monthly Officer/Rep meeting. Members are allowed to sit in and participate in the meeting; however members are not allowed to cast votes held during these meetings. All decisions requiring member based votes are mailed out to all of our members in ballot style form.

Q: I have recently moved and am no longer receiving any correspondence.
A: We do not have any means of knowing when a member moves. We ask that if you have moved or are planning on moving that a notice (email/letter) be sent to our Membership Secretary with your new contact information.

Q: Are children allowed to attend the SRWT Annual Banquet:
A: The SRWT Banquet is the only function we hold that we deem as "Adult Only". This is solely due to the serving of alcoholic beverages and games of chance. Young adults (16-17 year olds) have been allowed to attend as long as you notify us in advance.
